We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team, working in a permanent part-time capacity of 56-64 hours per fortnight.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we have a long history of serving older residents through our high standard of care and community focus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, support, and assistance to all residents under the guidance of our senior clinical team.
Main duties include:
- Providing personal care to assist residents in maintaining independence and dignity.
- Assisting with meal delivery and refreshments as required.
- Recording observations on relevant assessment charts and documenting any exceptions to the care plan.
- Reporting such to the EN/RN and attending to allocated duties.
Requirements:
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
- Strong communication skills and experience in residential aged care.
- Ability to work night shifts.
