Kazi's Super Market Mount Druitt is a supermarket of Asian products, groceries, halal meats and other premium daily needs. The supermarket sells most of the grocery items usually for Asian communities. The market has a diverse range of products and pantry essentials.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Retail Buyer (Full-time) for Kazi's Supermarket Mount Druitt. The candidate must have experience in purchasing and retail management and strong negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing grocery items for resale, analysing sales data, predicting consumer trends, and negotiating with suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting extensive market research and competitive analysis to anticipate consumer trends and procurement opportunities.
Negotiating pricing and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Developing and implementing buying strategies that align with business goals and market demand.
Managing key supplier relationships, negotiating long-term contracts, and ensuring procurement aligns with business objectives.
Collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with business goals.
Preparing and presenting advanced reports on procurement, stock movement, and financial performance for top management.
Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
About You
Previous experience as a retail buyer, preferably in the procurement of grocery items.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Experience in any Asian or Indian supershop will be preferred.
Knowledge of the Bengali language is a privilege.
