We are actively seeking dedicated Multi-Skilled Mobile Plant Operators to join our Black Coal Mining Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in mining or civil earthworks
- Proficiency in operating multiple machines: Loader,Dozer,Grader, Excavator
- Coal Board Medical (CBM)
- Standard 11 (S11)
- Relevant RII competencies
- Solid focus on safety, efficiency, and team collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of equipment including loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators
- Haulage and treatment of reject materials to the DREA emplacement area
- Perform compaction and grading of rejects with dozers, graders, compactors, and water trucks
- Maintain approximately 8km of haul roads, ensuring safe, stable, and dust-free conditions
- Conduct pre-start checks, defect reporting, and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members across rotating shifts
