As Principal Engineer (Infrastructure Delivery), you will lead the Transport Delivery team within the Capital Delivery Branch, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ipswich's infrastructure. Your main focus will be on overseeing the delivery of complex capital works programs, including roads, stormwater, and other civil infrastructure, valued at over $35 million annually.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead the planning, procurement, and execution of major infrastructure projects
* Act as Superintendent or Superintendent's Representative managing contractors onsite
* Provide strategic engineering advice and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams
* Engage with Councillors, senior management, and community stakeholders
* Drive procurement strategies and financial oversight
