We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 1) to join our Diabetes Service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to lead, innovate, and foster best practices in diabetes management.As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will act as a clinical expert, guiding and supporting the healthcare team in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. Through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and consumer groups, you will develop, implement, and evaluate clinical practice standards to ensure the highest quality outcomes for patients. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.Where You'll Be WorkingBankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.
