Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd. is a rapidly growing & highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast, and ACT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motived Metal Flashings Installer (Roofing Maintenance) who is keen to be trained/ to join us at our ACT office in Mitchell. Juniors with experience in Fascia, Gutter or Roofing are encouraged to apply. You will be an organised, friendly & focused person with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified roof plumbers learning and mastering your trade.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Drive to building sites and measure flashing and roofs.
On-site Roof and Flashing measures.
Identifying Problems/ leaks (training will be given).
Installing flashings and roofing materials where needed.
Must have:
Robust written and verbal communication skills
An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your work
Be a self-starter and show initiative
Work well under pressure
Work cover approved white card and current NSW Drivers Licence (manual) are essential
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
Crookwell NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
