About the Role
Based in Fortitude Valley, the Signalling team is responsible for designing signalling systems and supporting infrastructure in accordance with project requirements, with a focus on achieving a high‑performing solution.
* The Signalling team will lead the enabling and final state needs of the overall delivery team.
* Preparation of signalling briefs, management of designs, reporting of progress and collaboration with other engineering teams.
* Assisting development of new opportunities, tender conversion and delivery of projects.
* Overseeing maintenance plans and reviewing operational studies.
* Participating in overall team coordination and continuous improvement.
About You
You will thrive in a technical environment and be able to solve problems. Ideally you will have:
* Degree in Electrical, Communications Engineering or related discipline.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Competencies in Queensland Rail or the ability to transfer equivalent experience.
* Experience with designing, constructing and commissioning major rail infrastructure signalling systems.
