Your new role
Are you passionate about supporting young people and empowering teams to do their best work? We're looking for an Assistant House Supervisor, Residential Care, to help lead the day‐to‐day life of our vibrant 24/7 residential home.
In this hands‐on leadership role, you'll work side‐by‐side with the Team Leader to keep the house running smoothly, supporting staff, promoting safety and wellbeing, and helping create a warm, therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
From guiding and mentoring staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring OHS standards are met, to working directly with young people and their support networks, you'll play a vital role in helping each child feel safe, and supported to achieve their goals.
You'll have the opportunity to use your initiative, step into leadership, and make meaningful decisions, all while being backed by strong systems, clear practices, and a supportive leadership team.

Your Skills And Experience
* Tertiary qualifications and / or extensive experience in a human services, welfare or social services role.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
* Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
* Proven skills and experience in development of behavioural management programmes for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours.
* Ability to supervise and support staff.
