Role Summary
CPP are seeking an IT Project Manager in a newly created, hands-on role that will play a critical part in CPP's digital transformation journey, to support the company's growth and broader business strategy. Technology is a key pillar of CPP's business strategy and this role is central to unlocking its success by making a meaningful impact organisation wide. Reporting to the IT Business Manager, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of new IT systems by partnering with technical experts and stakeholders across CPP that enables the company to scale, operate more efficiently, and support future growth.
Responsibilities
Manage deliverables across a diverse portfolio of IT initiatives by setting project cadence, plans and milestones, and managing scope, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
Bring structure and discipline to delivery, enabling technical specialists and business stakeholders to focus on their expertise, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed outcomes.
Provide high-level exposure from frontline teams through to senior leadership, and work across multiple systems and business areas in a transformation-focused environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in IT.
Formal project management certification (e.g. PMBOK, PRINCE2, PROSCI or equivalent).
A minimum of 7 years' experience delivering end-to-end IT systems projects.
Proven experience leading IT projects and implementing new systems within complex organisations, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or private enterprise environments undergoing digital transformation.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to listen first and communicate effectively with audiences at all levels of the organisation.
Strong understanding of modern technologies (Microsoft, Cloud Services, Networks, Integrations).
A calm, composed and solutions-focused approach.
