About the role
Based in Braeside, this role reports to the National planning and Procurement manager. The procurement analyst's role supports the team with sourcing and selecting suppliers of raw materials required in the manufacturing of cleaning chemicals.
Key responsibilities:
Support Procurement manager with the half yearly tender process to ensure Raw material supply is secured for the period and prices locked in.
Researching potential suppliers for required items or materials.
Assessing suppliers based on pricing, shipping times, and product quality.
Supporting QC team with testing and approvals of new samples from suppliers
Negotiating prices and terms of purchase.
Maintain supplier Master data in the ERP system
Providing Quarterly forecast to suppliers.
Analyse PPV and implement corrective actions to decrease variance.
Support with procurement contracts between the company and suppliers where required
Skills & experience:
To be successful for this role, you will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in science or chemical engineering, or a related field
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with laboratory experience.
Robust analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
