About the prospect

Working closely with your counterpart in the People & Culture (P&C;) team, the System Administrator will be responsible for the ongoing configuration, improvement, operation and administration of the modules on WorkSafe’s SAP SuccessFactors platform (internally branded as PeopleCentral).

In particular your knowledge of and expertise in Finance and Payroll’s operational requirements will be critical to the design and continuous improvement of the Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Onboarding modules. With the support of external vendor support this role will focus on improvements to general ledger accounting reporting and known PeopleCentral configuration challenges. Key accountabilities include:

- Leading a review of People Central Payroll configuration with the support of external vendor management to develop improvement options month end accounting reporting.
- Responsible for day-to-day issue resolution, including researching and resolving general ledger accounting system related problems, unexpected results or process flows.
- Working with the individual Module SMEs to ensure a smooth support model is in place that provides a consistent user experience across the platform. Support the Module SMEs to upskill in order to deliver on their SME functions and reporting.
- Providing business analysis expertise, to develop solutions to business issues, ensuring continuous improvement through process automation and system integration. Actively champion and engage teams in cross‑functional collaboration to resolve queries and improve service delivery.

You are an accomplished HR and Payroll systems professional with extensive experience in the administration and management of HRIS platforms, ideally including configuration and support of SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll. You possess a sound understanding of accounting principles as they relate to payroll and general ledger reporting, and demonstrate the capability to ensure system configurations align with Enterprise Agreements, Executive Contracts and Australian legislative requirements.

You have a proven record of maintaining and enhancing HRIS systems through the development of tailored solutions and processes that drive accuracy, consistency, and service improvement. Your analytical skills enable you to identify issues, interpret data, and implement effective resolutions, while managing defects and change requests through to completion.

Your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills enable you to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners, provide training and guidance to system users, and foster commitment across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Your high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to service quality are complemented by your ability to manage access controls, adhere to governance processes, and uphold the integrity of HR and payroll data.
