Haynes currently have an opportunity for a qualified Diesel Fitter – Field Service Technician to join our valued client based in Gladstone.
What's on offer:
* $50 per hour
* $300 per week housing allowance
* Company vehicle provided
* Permanent, full-time position
* Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct mechanical inspections, scheduled servicing, and routine maintenance on a fleet of equipment
* Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults and failures
* Carry out mechanical repairs and return equipment to full operational capacity
* Accurately complete and submit job-related paperwork on time
* Assist with monitoring equipment reliability and hire readiness at the branch
* Inspect equipment upon return and report damage to ensure cost recovery
* Clean and prepare equipment for hire
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers
* Perform other duties as directed in line with your skills and experience
Requirements:
* Relevant mechanical trade qualification
* Proven experience in field service or similar environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work autonomously with a high attention to detail
* Full working rights in Australia
* Must be able to pass a PEM and DAS
