Our client are a specialised insurance building repair company, delivering the highest standard of service in managing insurance assessments and building repairs for our insurance and Strata management clients. Based on the Gold Coast and covering areas from Northern New South Wales to North Brisbane. They are expanding and due to continued growth year on year, an opportunity is available for an experienced and customer focused Supervisor to be part of our journey and join our team.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Repair Supervisor to join our growing team in South-East Queensland. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing our network of subcontractors and suppliers throughout the entire building repair process. The supervisor is the face of our business to the policyholder, and it is vital that we not only maintain our reputation for excellent client and customer service but aim to continually exceed all expectations. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Repair Supervisor is responsible for:
* Completing detailed and professional assessments and cause of damage reports for a wide range of damage (fire, water, hail, flood, storm).
* Providing accurate and competitive quotes for our clients within a required timeframe.
* Scheduling and supervising subcontractors throughout the repair process ensuring that works are completed to a high standard, to code and adhering to all WH&S requirements.
* Building and maintaining key sub-contractor relationships.
* Communicating effectively with the policyholders, trades, clients, and our staff to maintain our high-quality customer and client experience.
* Working effectively with our computer systems to easily oversee operations.
About you
* Trade qualification required (Carpentry - highly regarded)
* Valid QBCC Contractor / Supervisor License or a willingness to obtain a licence.
* The ability to provide quality estimates without need for outside quotes.
* High level of interpersonal, communication and management skills.
* Current and valid Australian driver's licence.
* Demonstrates a high level of organisational and problem-solving skills.
