Talentweb is working with a national civil engineering consultancy in Sydney that is experiencing a sustained increase in workload across urban development and land development projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Associate-level Civil Engineer to support project delivery, mentor teams, and strengthen client relationships.
This role is suited to a senior engineer who enjoys balancing technical leadership, project delivery, and client engagement, and who wants to play a key role in supporting a high-performing civil team.
The Role
* Lead the delivery of urban and land development projects from concept through to construction.
* Provide technical oversight across civil design outputs including roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities.
* Support and mentor engineers and designers, helping to build team capability.
* Manage client relationships and contribute to winning and retaining work.
* Oversee project performance, resourcing, and delivery against time and budget.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
About You
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
* 10–15+ years’ experience within an Australian civil engineering consultancy.
* Strong background in urban development / land development projects.
* Proficiency in 12D, DRAINS and MUSIC (or equivalent civil design software).
* Proven experience leading projects and supporting junior engineers.
* CPEng is highly regarded
* Strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
