Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Lending Specialist. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing expert advice on lending products, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bulk up your client base by promoting Great Southern Bank's products and services to expand the target market share.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the branch to serve existing customers, help them with new lending, and develop referral networks to introduce new lending customers to the branch.
* Oversee home loans through to completion, grow your pipeline, and continuously scan for opportunities to help all Australians own their own home.

* Leadership: As a highly experienced lender, you will be seen as a senior team member in the retail network and a respected subject-matter expert.
* Networking and Lead Generation: Well-known and well-respected in the local community, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to promote the bank brand and purpose to existing and future customers through strategic networking and business development activities.
* Sales Performance: You will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of your service, including meeting service standards and performance targets.
* Process and Operations: You will maintain a strong knowledge of the bank's lending and ancillary products, and adopt sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan.
To Succeed in this Role, You Will Have
* At least 2 years' experience in mortgage lending or credit assessment.
* Demonstrated experience working with all banking products.
* Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads and obtain business through network activities.
* Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a proven ability to apply cross-selling techniques for products and services.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer and sales focus.
* Ability to problem solve complex financial problems.
* Strong ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong connections with your team.
* Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management.
