Aranda House is a registered Therapeutic Community (TC) fostering a supportive environment where individuals actively participate in their own recovery journey through group therapy, structured programmes, and mutual support.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Case Manager to join the Aranda House Therapeutic Community in Alice Springs, NT. This role involves supporting clients as they work towards recovery, build life skills, develop relapse prevention plans, and transition to independent living.

In this role, you will:

* Develop and facilitate programmes focused on therapy, cultural enrichment, and relapse prevention.
* Design individual treatment plans tailored to client goals.
* Provide case management support including resident intake, induction, and ongoing reviews.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies.
* Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to reporting.
* Facilitate group therapy sessions, community meetings, and recovery‐focused activities.
* Participate in the on‐call rotating roster and provide occasional after‐hours support.

About You

We value practical, hands‐on case management experience and encourage applicants with strong real‐world experience to apply, even if they do not hold formal qualifications.

Qualifications and experience:

* Demonstrated experience in community services or case management, including direct client support, programme facilitation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong understanding of alcohol and other drug (AOD) recovery principles, harm minimisation approaches, and client‐centred practice.
* Confidence facilitating small group therapy sessions, community meetings, and educational programmes within a structured recovery environment.
* Ability to build respectful relationships with clients while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
* Evidence of positive pro‐social behaviour and contribution to a safe, supportive therapeutic community environment.
* Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and accountability when working with vulnerable clients.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Strong record‐keeping skills, including maintaining accurate case notes and client records.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
* Ability to work within a smoke‐free therapeutic community environment.
* Willingness and ability to participate in a rotating on‐call roster.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Certificate IV in Community Services (Alcohol and Other Drugs) or similar qualification.
* Knowledge of the Therapeutic Community model and DASA programmes.
* Certificate IV in TAE.
