Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer/Engineering Coordinator with a technical background to join the K2 Project Team in Perth. In this role, you will assist the Engineering Manager to manage multi‐discipline engineering design of projects, tenders or studies undertaken by Clough to ensure that designs are in accordance with project requirements and company objectives and deliver quality outcomes for Clough and its clients. The K2 Project is a new 220MW gas‐fired power station that will be built in Kwinana, south of Perth, providing fast‐start, flexible generation to support the increasing application of renewable energy across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Engineering Manager in managing multi‐discipline engineering design of projects, tenders or studies.
* Ensure designs are in accordance with project requirements and company objectives.
* Deliver quality outcomes for Clough and its clients.
* Manage the delivery of technically acceptable engineering services for approved work to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and Clough's business needs.
* Manage all design activities to ensure they are produced on time and within budget.
* Task and resource allocation and monitoring/reporting of progress for the design team in line with project milestones.
* Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
* Visible leader and promoter of engineering internally within Clough.
* Foster and encourage the Clough way of construction‐led design and EPC mindset on projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Relevant experience in engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, or Infrastructure / Utilities.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
* Background in Technical/Design Engineering is essential.
* Aspirations to develop into Engineering Management.
* Previous experience in package management.
* Ability to communicate with and manage external stakeholders including clients and design consultants.
