About The Company
Lander & Rogers is a leading independent law firm, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and a global reach. Our focus is on innovating the client experience and leading change in legal service delivery. We are also committed to supporting our communities through pro‐bono work.
About The Group
Now is an excellent opportunity to become part of our expanding Banking team, especially following the recent joining of Simon Reid, a market‐leading Debt Finance Partner. The team is recognised for its extensive expertise across corporate, leveraged and real‐estate finance matters, advising on complex, high‐profile multi‐jurisdictional deals as well as domestic financings. We work closely with clients to understand their commercial priorities and pride ourselves on delivering clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
About The Role
* Work with senior lawyers and partners on a range of complex local and cross‐border financing transactions, with a particular emphasis on real‐estate and acquisition financings. * Provide legal advice and draft transaction documents, including facility agreements, intercreditor deeds, security documents and tripartite deeds.
* Lead or co‐lead financing transactions and work in partnership with senior practitioners and other team members, including cross‐practice collaboration.
* Mentor graduate and more junior lawyers to successfully complete transactions.
* Supervise and support junior lawyers, graduates and seasonal clerks throughout their rotations.
* Build client relationships at a corresponding level. Business development is a key focus for this team; a track record is not required but a willingness to participate and develop the required skills is essential.
