We are currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our team.
About the Role
Reporting to our Accounts Supervisor, the Accounts Officer will be responsible for a range of general accounts and administrative duties. This includes accounts payable and receivable functions, processing, verifying and reconciling accounts, completing payments and maintaining financial records.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Timely processing of invoices in our automated Accounts Payable system, ensuring all invoices are coded, authorised, processed and paid in accordance with payment terms.
* Maintenance of vendor relationships and respond in a timely & professional manner.
* Assist with month end and year end accounts processing and reporting.
* Perform other administrative duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* Previous experience in an Accounts all-rounder role.
* Self-motivated, positive, professional attitude and eager to learn.
* Ability to work autonomously, multi-task and to work effectively as part of a team.
* A high level of attention to detail and good analytical skills
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Willingness to continually develop own skills and take on additional duties when required.
