Overview
A Brisbane-based company is seeking a Level 3 IT Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support, lead escalations, and contribute to project delivery across cloud, infrastructure, and networking environments. This full-time position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex issues, deliver solutions to industry best practice standards, and mentor junior team members.
Base pay range: A$80,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced Level 3 support across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex escalations from Level 1 & 2 teams
* Assist in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud-based projects
* Contribute to security and compliance initiatives
* Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team
* Manage advanced technical issues and contribute to project delivery
Qualifications
* 5+ years' IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a senior/Level 3 role
* Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
* Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
* Networking knowledge, including firewalls, routing, switching, and VPNs
* Proven troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and cloud environments
* Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Full working rights in Australia
* Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Expert)
* Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity tools
* Exposure to project management or team leadership responsibilities
* Previous experience working in an MSP environment
