Service Technician – Mechanical (Immediate Start)
Are you a skilled mechanical technician looking for an exciting opportunity with immediate start? Join our dynamic Service team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment and associated products. This is not a FIFO role and you must be currently living in Kalgoorlie.
About the Role
As a Service Technician – Mechanical, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, overhauls, and maintenance on compressed air equipment and generators. This role requires a hands‑on professional who thrives in challenging environments and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in air compressors and generators using diagnostic tools.
* Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, cleaning coolers, and re‑greasing motors.
* Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
* Complete accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols, including JSA completion and PPE usage.
* Travel within Australia and occasionally internationally for service calls.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a maintenance or field service environment.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety.
* Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
* Excellent customer‑service and communication skills.
* Experience with pneumatic equipment and compressed air systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
