Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter Leading Hand
We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical fitter leading hand to join our preservation team on the Perdaman project. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a large-scale construction project that will generate 2,000 jobs during its construction phase.
* Implement preservation procedures for static and rotating equipment including vessels, tanks, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and air coolers.
* Implement preservation procedures for E&I equipment including electrical systems, instrumentation, motors, substations, HVAC, RIE's, and battery rooms.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintain preservation logs.
* Apply protective coatings, inerting, flushing, and sealing as needed.
* Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
* Construction White/Blue Card
* Technical knowledge or relevant certification
* Experience in LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries preferred
* Strong knowledge of equipment preservation techniques and industry standards
* Ability to work in a high-safety, fast-paced environment
* Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres
* Current Driver's License
* Full Working Rights in Australia
