Chief digital surveillance officer

This role offers a challenging opportunity to work in the field of digital surveillance, developing and operating lawful covert surveillance capabilities in support of law enforcement requirements.

You will be part of an engineering team that collects, ingests, and enriches data from diverse sources into analytics platforms, ensuring end-users have access to timely, accurate, and actionable insights in support of investigations and intelligence analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and maintaining applications, data pipelines, and ETL processes to enable lawful covert surveillance capabilities.
* Collaborating with agile teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions that meet operational needs.
* Performing research and development of new platforms, processes, and technologies to improve operational efficiency and data delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in building data pipelines, front-end, or back-end systems. Experience working in a Linux-based development environment is also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

* Tertiary qualification in a related field, such as information technology, data analysis, computer science, software engineering, or similar.
