This role is part of the dynamic Office of the Commissioner team, supporting information requests across Youth Justice.
You will use your strategic thinking and policy skills to support high-level, confidential communications.
Our goal is to address underlying causes of offending behaviour and achieve positive change in the lives of children and young people who come into contact with the justice system.
The opportunity includes a full-time position for two years, based in Melbourne. You will work as part of a VPS 4 role: $97,955 - $111,142 per year plus super.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the actioning of requests for Youth Justice information
* Maintaining accurate records of files
* Providing administrative support to the Senior Project Officer
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in public sector administration and knowledge of government processes. Knowledge of Youth Justice operations and current policy direction is also desirable.

A tertiary qualification in public administration or a similar discipline is desirable.
A current Employee Working with Children Check card is required prior to commencement of employment.
