Optimizing Operations through Intelligent Processes
We are at the forefront of transforming steel into smart solutions that support society, today and in the future.
The Opportunity
In our Digital Transformation team based in Port Kembla, we seek a Senior Process Intelligence Engineer to lead the adoption of our Process Intelligence toolkit across Australian Steel Products Manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement multi-site process intelligence roadmaps to ensure efficient replication of solutions across sites.
* Collaborate closely with operations and functional teams to set strategic direction for data governance and definition.
* Evaluate interoperability across tools, datasets, and departments to reduce duplication and break down silos.
* Mentor analysts, champions, and leaders to build local ownership of tools and insights, fostering long-term capability and resilience.
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically skilled and curious — someone who uses data to uncover stories, reveal patterns, and spark solutions that transform how manufacturing operates. As someone who thrives in a close-knit team, you'll see your work deliver tangible improvements every day.
* Hold tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, information technology or a related field.
* Possess deep technical and analytical skills, ideally within manufacturing, process engineering, or data analytics.
* Have a restorative mindset — you see opportunities to improve and strengthen processes, not just fix them.
* Able to translate strategy into practical solutions that teams adopt with confidence.
