You can choose to help change someone's life in a job that is flexible, varied and rewarding.The job:You will be a Personal Assistant to a mum who has epilepsy and lives in her own bungalowwith her teenage son.
The main focus of the role is to support her to live her daily life bysupporting her with cleaning her home, with making her breakfast and generally to be onhand in case she has a seizure.
You will also support her to attend medical appointmentsand ensure she takes her medication.
No personal care is required.She has a loving and dedicated family around her who live very close and are on hand at alltimes.She has a very small but friendly dog.The right person:The ideal candidate is someone who has experience of providing care and support toindividuals, particularly experience supporting someone who has seizures.A driver with a car is desirable but not essential.The hours:We are looking for a Personal Assistant to work 8.00am-4.00pm on Monday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday.The rates of pay and benefits:PAs are paid £12.21 per hourYou will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
