About The Role
As a Financial Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial control framework and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Lead Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance our financial governance practices, driving business growth and reducing risk exposure.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare high-quality financial reports for senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
* Team Management: Manage relationships with external providers supporting the financial governance program, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
* Guidance and Oversight: Provide guidance and oversight to teams conducting financial controls testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
* Risk Management: Monitor remediation plans for control testing outcomes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
* Steering Committee: Support the coordination of the Financial Governance Steering Committee, maintaining governance priorities and progress.
* Audit Liaison: Act as a key liaison with internal and external auditors, ensuring robust audit engagement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
