Facilities Program Manager (Adelaide)
DFP Recruitment is partnering with a large South Australian state government organisation to source an experienced Facilities Program Manager for a 2‐year contract within their Facilities Management unit.
About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, delivery and oversight of complex facilities and asset management programmes across a sizeable, geographically dispersed portfolio. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, operational facilities managers and external service providers to ensure effective budget allocation, asset lifecycle planning and maintenance delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Portfolio‐level facilities and asset programme management
* Analysis, governance and maintenance of large asset datasets
* Development and monitoring of annual and forward‐year facilities budgets
* Financial review, reconciliation and spend tracking across the portfolio
* Stakeholder consultation and relationship management
* Oversight of preventative maintenance programmes and service provider performance
About you / Qualifications
* Proven experience managing large, complex commercial or government asset portfolios
* Strong asset data, spreadsheet and financial analysis skills
* Experience developing facilities work programmes, budget forecasts and expenditure tracking
* Sound knowledge of portfolio facilities management and asset lifecycle planning
* Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* The ability to operate at a strategic level while maintaining attention to detail
Previous government or public‐sector facilities management experience will be highly regarded. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a government probity / criminal history check.
Compensation & contract
ASO6 salary: $98,478 – $104,165 + 12% super + leave loading (1.0 FTE)Location: Adelaide CBDContract: 2 years
