At Fairhands Care, we're looking for a caring, reliable, and friendly NDIS Support Worker to join our team and support a wonderful female participant in Victor Harbor, South Australia. If you enjoy making a real difference in someone's day-to-day life, helping them build independence, and sharing in community activities, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting personal care with kindness and respect, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
* Helping with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
* Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and keeping the home safe and welcoming.
* Encouraging and supporting participation in community activities, social events, and outings.
* Promoting daily living skills and independence, helping the participant achieve their goals.
* Offering companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
* Keeping accurate and timely notes about the support provided, in line with NDIS requirements.
Who We're Looking For:
We'd love to hear from someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient, and friendly
* Experienced in personal care, disability support, and domestic assistance
* Dedicated to promoting independence and wellbeing
Mandatory Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Manual Handling Certificate
* National Police Check
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Full Driver's License and access to a car
