About the Role:Reporting to the Head of Merchandise & Marketing, you will lead our Buying & Product Development team, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept and trend identification through to launch and ongoing range performance. This role combines product strategy, commercial buying and creative product development.
Key Responsibilities:Product & Range StrategyDevelop and execute product strategies aligned with Kaisercraft's brand and commercial goalsIdentify trends, customer insights and market opportunities to shape new product rangesLead the product lifecycle from concept through to launch and ongoing performanceWork closely with Planning, Marketing, Sales and Retail teams to ensure successful product launchesBuying & Commercial PerformanceLead the Buying team to deliver profitable product rangesManage supplier relationships, sourcing and product negotiationsMonitor sales, margins and product performance to optimise the rangeDrive pricing, forecasting and range planning decisionsEnsure products meet quality standards and compliance requirements.Product Development & DesignPartner with the Design team to translate creative ideas into commercially successful productsEnsure product development timelines are managed efficiently from concept to productionBalance creative innovation with strong commercial outcomesLeadershipLead and develop a team of Buyers and DesignersBuild a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and accountabilityImprove product development processes and cross-department communication
About You:You are a commercially minded product leader who knows how to bring great products to market in a fast-paced retail environment.You thrive where creativity and commercial thinking move quickly and work together to deliver results. You will likely bring:7+ years' experience in product management, buying or category managementProven experience managing teams of 5+ employees; experience overseeing buying and design teams would be advantageous. Experience leading product development within retail or consumer goodsStrong commercial acumen and analytical capabilityProven experience managing suppliers and product sourcingExcellent stakeholder and communication skillsExperience in giftware, homewares, stationery, or lifestyle products will be highly regarded.
