Head of Product - Fashion & Merchandising

SNDYS is seeking a Head of Product to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle across retail and wholesale. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and commercial performance, partnering closely with the Creative Director to bring collections to life while owning the numbers behind them.You will be responsible for translating creative vision into profitable, well-balanced ranges, ensuring the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply fashion-led but equally confident working in forecasts, margin analysis and inventory strategy.


Key responsibilities

Product & range leadership

Lead seasonal range planning across retail and wholesale channels.

Partner with the Creative Director to align product direction with brand vision and customer demand.

Oversee the end-to-end design and development process, ensuring product concepts align with brand identity and customer expectations.

Ensure ranges are balanced across categories, price points, margins and fabrications.

Buying & inventory planning

Own buy quantities, size curves and depth planning by channel.

Manage OTB, WSSI and inventory flow across seasons.

Analyse sell-through, weekly trading and stock performance to inform rebuys and future buys.

Lead markdown strategy, clearance planning and end-of-life decisions.

Wholesale product management

Support strategic direction for wholesale with major global retailers, including range planning, personalisation.

Oversee product architecture and pricing for wholesale partners.

Ensure collections are commercially viable and aligned to wholesale calendars and MOQ requirements.

Support wholesale growth through strong range rationalisation and forecasting.

Commercial & analytical ownership

Monitor margin performance and work closely with production to protect profitability.

Deliver post-season analysis with clear insights and actions.

Use data to challenge assumptions, refine buys and improve future performance.

Balance trend-driven decisions with historical data and demand forecasting.

Team & cross-functional leadership

Lead and mentor the design, buying and planning functions.

Work cross-functionally with production, merchandising, marketing, eCommerce and operations.

Drive clear timelines, accountability and decision-making across the product calendar.

About you

Fashion-forward with a strong point of view on trends, silhouettes and brand evolution.

Highly analytical, confident working with forecasts, OTBs and margin models.

Commercially minded, able to balance creativity with profitability.

Decisive, calm under pressure and comfortable making high-impact calls.

Strong communicator who can bridge creative and commercial teams.

Obsessed with product quality, fit and customer experience.


Experience

7+ years experience in product, buying or merchandising within fashion.

Experience across both retail and wholesale channels.

Proven track record managing inventory at scale.

Strong Excel and forecasting capability.

Experience working in fast-paced, growth-focused fashion brands preferred.
