**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
- This is an exciting opportunity to join the Acute Pain Service at Werribee Mercy Hospital. The successful applicant will practice at an advanced level in collaboration with the Anaesthetic Department in the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care for all patients referred to the Acute Pain Service.
- EFT 0.2 Permanent Friday's.
- Work autonomously within pain services and engage with all stakeholders involved in the patient's care
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise relevant to acute pain management
- Participate in research & quality improvement activities, including audits, data base & clinical procedure management
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Current registration with AHPRA, Division 1 Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Post graduate qualification in an acute specialist area such as, but not limited to, perioperative, critical/intensive care & emergency
- You have at least 3 years clinical experience in one of the above-mentioned fields (or other relevant area)
- You have an advanced level of nursing skill and are easily identifiable as a role model of clinical competence.
