Culinary Expert Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at the Garden Restaurant in the National Gallery of Victoria. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality seated lunches and contributing to exceptional dining experiences in a vibrant, artistic environment.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have experience in a la carte restaurant service and daily operations of a kitchen. Predominantly lunch service with evening services as business requires. Ambition and support to make this a true destination restaurant is essential.
Requirements
* Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with +2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Able to provide or obtain a current police check.
* Pasta making experience desirable.
* Mediterranean/Modern Australian food background desirable.
* Comfortable working under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines.
* Strong attention and respect for OH&S, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
