Your new role – Casual Children's Services Educator
We're looking for dedicated and experienced Children's Services Educators to work across the Council's long day care and outside school hours care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality childcare across the service centres. This includes:
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for our children
* Support with the planning and implementation of engaging activities that support children's development, in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and centre policies, including work health and safety
Essential:
* Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Working with Vulnerable People Card
* Experience working in childcare or an early learning environment
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and conditions: Casual position. Central Coast Council's Enterprise Agreement – Children's Services Level 2.1 ($30.83 per hour, plus 25% casual loading - $38.53).
