Role Overview
A lecturer in psychology with expertise in cross-cultural and indigenous psychology is sought to lead unit teaching teams in undergraduate programs.
The successful candidate will chair a second-year elective unit, deliver online lectures, and facilitate face-to-face and online seminars.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead unit teaching teams and collaborate with other units to develop effective curricula and learning resources.
* Implement innovative curriculum design and deliver learner-centric teaching practices.
* Design collaborative learning opportunities and support diverse learners by creating accessible and inclusive materials and practices.
* Develop assessment tasks and rubrics, providing clear criteria and timely feedback.
* Contribute to educational research projects and advance knowledge within the field.
* Assist in integrating new pedagogical research across education and demonstrate emerging teaching scholarship.
Requirements
* PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design.
* Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or external funding.
* Capacity to contribute to leadership and administration.
