Our Team:
We are seeking a talented and skilled Media Manager to join our CHC Brand and Innovation (marketing) team. In this newly created role, you will report to the Media and Agency Relations Lead, and play a pivotal role in our company’s mission by ensuring the development of fully aligned media strategies and executions for our priority brands, from our above the line brand communications through to our customer retail media activity.
In this role you’ll be responsible for working across our brand AND customer teams, as well as along our external media partners, to help ensure the most effective and fully aligned media strategies are created.
The overarching purpose is to transform how our brands connect with consumers, in more relevant ways, more often. The Media Manager will design and deliver culturally meaningful, breakthrough communication plans that grow our brands, through the engagement of our agency partners and retail customers while influencing the internal decision making on channels, platforms and ecosystems.
Main responsibilities:
* Take an active role in leading the retail media strategy and planning for the portfolio of brands throughout the year, ensuring alignment with above the line media and consumer promotions
* Manage the quality of the retail led creation of media plans and buys that reflect the insights and the ideas shaped from them
* Collaborate with the Sanofi key retail business managers to identify and produce compelling media opportunities to drive business and ensure campaign alignment with our above the line strategy and key focus areas
* Own the Sanofi cross team collaborative process to ensure effective media campaigns for all our brands, including partnering with brand teams as a key input into all briefs, translating our business objectives into clear and inspiring, actionable briefs
* Embed best practice metrics and measurement approaches for all campaigns
* Work across Sanofi’s broader agency village of media, creative, PR and lead the collaboration with the key retailers and their relevant media partners.
About you
Education:
* A degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is desirable
Experience:
* Proven experience, ideally minimum 3+ years, working with media across online and offline channels, including familiarity with retail media and TV
* Experience translating strategic business objectives into tactical media executions
* Well versed in offline media and digital planning and execution
* Australian media market experience
* Media strategy experience highly regarded
Soft Skills:
* Ability to influence effectively across multiple collaborators by creating clarity in strategy and execution plans
* Decisive, structured, dedicated and organized, with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent at working and delivering against deadlines, thinking proactively and working reactively with the ability to meet goals under pressure
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
