Job Overview:
Kanda seeks a seasoned Case Manager to provide direct support and case management for young people, overseeing a team of residential care workers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor frontline teams in Children, Youth Family Services.
* Provide leadership to a team of residential care workers, including conducting regular supervisions and fostering a supportive team environment.
* Develop, manage review individualised plans for young people, addressing their specific needs and goals.
* Work collaboratively with other departments, stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to ensure a cohesive approach to youth support.
* Undertake necessary mandatory reporting and other administrative tasks to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Child, Youth Family Intervention or in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education etc.
* Proven experience in youth services management, including program oversight and staff supervision.
* Thorough understanding of Child Protection principles and experience working with government and non-government agencies.
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, along with manage conflicts and complaints.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
