About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Rosmech currently have positions available now to join our dynamic and busy Workshop at our Salisbury Plain head office site.
If you enjoy being in the sunshine, rolling up your sleeves to 'smash out' some physical tasks and not being stuck behind a desk, this is your gig

If you have just entered the workforce as a Trades Assistant or are keen to use your mechanical experience /hobby and/or have experience with hand tools, this may be the chance you are seeking.

About the Role
This position is based at our Salisbury Plain site, in South Australia.
The role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and is responsible for:
Assisting to ensure that the quality of service to clients meets and exceeds customer and management expectations
Assisting with service and repair works, as required
Maintaining sweeper vehicles and area cleanliness
Ensuring the Workshop facilities, plant & equipment are appropriately maintained at all times
Operating hand and power tools, as assigned
Carrying out general tasks including preparation of tools and cleaning duties
Completing jobs within time frames as per your team and clients' needs
Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment
To be great at this role, here is what is going to cut it:
Experience in a similar role in a workshop environment (manufacturing or mechanical workshop is a bonus) or in general labourer work
Talent with power tools or a passion for mechanical and/or truck work or to work in the outdoors.
Yes your weekend car hobby skills are welcome.
Positive and respectful team player and front up with a 'can-do' attitude
Current Driver's License
Self-motivated and willing to learn for your growth
Punctuality in your attendance and reliability for your crew
Appropriate level of fitness
Ability to work solo when required
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a Drug and Alcohol Test
Live up to about 20 minutes from Salisbury Plain
Bonus if you bring a reasonable mechanical knowledge, with or without certifications and to think what this can lead to
