Technical Relationship Manager

The Technical Relationship Manager is a critical role in ensuring the success of our enterprise and federal customers. This position involves managing the technical relationship between the customer and our organization, leveraging strong technical knowledge to guide and assist customers in deploying, optimizing, and using our products.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand client objectives and apply expertise to resolve issues and ensure customer success.
2. Act as a technical owner for assigned accounts, working with customers through design and architectural discussions, planning, and execution.
3. Provide expert-level advice and implementation best practices.
4. Support production rollout and perform health checks to ensure optimized and stable customer environments.
5. Go beyond break-fix support by becoming a true technical partner to customers, helping shape their strategy and security programs.
6. Meet regularly with strategic clients to review support interactions, system status, major issues, upcoming releases, best practices, and drive forward-looking security programs.
7. Disseminate product knowledge across customers to drive product adoption.
8. Advocate for customer requirements and challenges within various teams.
9. Direct crisis and incident response, communicating effectively with customers.
10. Maintain strong technical knowledge of our product offerings and mentor staff on best practices, preferred configurations, and next steps.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of industry experience in a technical account manager, professional services, sales engineer, or support engineer role with exposure to multiple networking and security technologies.
2. Knowledge of project management and strong account management skills.
3. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux, including supporting Linux-based applications.
4. 3+ years of Networking experience.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.
6. Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
7. Standout colleague who thrives in a team environment and can make decisions independently.


Nice to Have:

1. CISSP, CEH, Security+, OSCP or similar certifications.
2. SQL experience.
3. Scripting language experience.
4. Proficiency with our products or similar technologies.
5. Penetration Testing experience.
6. 1+ years of Security experience.
