- The Homes, Property and Development (the Group) within Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) oversees the management of NSW Government real property assets, including the management of the NSW Government's social housing portfolio and oversight of strategic use and disposal of government owned land. The Group includes Property and Development NSW, Waste Assets Management Corporation, Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation, Aboriginal Housing Office, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Valuation NSW and the Land and Housing Corporation._
- The Group leverages public and private sector expertise to improve place-based outcomes, providing greater access and choice of housing through initiatives such as an end-to-end housing strategy, and improving outcomes for Aboriginal communities to maximise community benefit from government owned land and property._
**About the role**
The Office of the Group Deputy Secretary is currently seeking 2 Project Officers work in the Co-ordination, and Portfolio and Reporting work streams.
The Office of the Deputy Secretary is seeking 2 Project Officers to join an expanding team, managing allocated projects, coordinating the flow information between key stakeholders across the Group, monitoring project progress and preparing monthly operational reports.
The roles focus on the co-ordination of tasks, reporting, and providing high level administration support services to the Office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS) and Homes, Property and Development Group whilst supporting the development and implementation of projects, co-ordination of requests, tasks, and reporting to facilitate the efficient and effective operation of the Group.
As a successful Project Officer within this team, you will be expected to provide considered advice across highly technical matters, in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
**About you**
You are experienced in working in high volume, fast paced environments, with good negotiation skills who loves talking with people to facilitate workflows and get things done This role requires you to be responsible for setting your own work priorities within the overall agreed work program. The role requires autonomy.
You will possess strong attention to detail as well as have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential requirements**:
- Proven experience in policy and project management, operations, and the workings of Government.
**Desirable**
- Experienced using Microsoft PowerBI, Smartsheet or similar for building dashboards and managing reporting against project milestones and deliverables.
