This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging business at Amazon. This role will help ensure our delivery promises to our customers are fulfilled on time and that we continuously improve Amazon Australia's delivery experience on behalf of our customers. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives with carrier, fulfillment center, technical, customer service, and retail teams. This leader will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting both daily execution activities and large, complex, cross-functional projects.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day interactions between Amazon and our transportation partners to improve capacity, quality, speed, and cost.
2. Analyze and review transportation metrics to bridge performance gaps and identify/execute actions to improve performance.
3. Participate in weekly business reviews with internal teams and external transportation partners.
4. Coordinate and communicate transportation forecasts with external partners to ensure sufficient capacity.
5. Review and manage transportation escalations, identifying and implementing corrective actions where required.
6. Work with internal stakeholders to improve customer experience in Last Mile.
Minimum qualifications
1. 3+ years of program or project management experience.
2. 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
3. 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
4. Bachelor's degree.
5. Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
6. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
7. 3+ years of experience managing end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
8. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
9. Experience building processes, managing projects, and scheduling.
