Palm Lake Resort Bargara is seeking an experienced Kitchenhand to join our team
Your attention to detail and dedication will ensure the facilities are clean and an enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike.
This role is Permanent Part time fixed roster, offering a minimum 15 hours per week where you will assist the Chef in food prep for meal services.
Shifts cover Tuesday and Thursday dinner service (5pm-8 : 30pm) and Wednesday & Friday lunch service (10 : 30am-2 : 30pm).
The successful applicant will have experience working in a kitchen along with meal sittings for service for over
Responsibilities
Plating of meals, serving meals to residents
Dish washing, kitchen cleaning and sanitizing after service
Assisting chef with food preparation where needed
Rubbish removal, vacuuming and mopping all common areas
Qualifications
Relevant experience as a Kitchen hand
Hold a current Food handling certificate (essential)
Good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and achieve set targets
