Employment Status: Permanent Part Time.
Location: Emerald & Surrounding Areas.
Remuneration: $p/hr + 12% Super + Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts.
About the Role
As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You'll spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes, supporting with daily activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing. You'll provide care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan, support community-based recreational and social activities, and assist with transportation to shopping and appointments.
Responsibilities
Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
Support clients with showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
Assist clients following their individualised Care Plan.
Encourage participation in community recreational and social activities.
Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
Requirements
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work (Third Party Property minimum).
