Key Responsibilities
This role is focused on achieving project objectives, providing technical direction, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. It also involves leading smaller projects, assisting in design development, and ensuring designs meet statutory regulations and company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
* A minimum of 6 years of experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of mineral processing plants, including multi-discipline design delivery.
* Detailed understanding of sizing conveyors, pumps, and other equipment typical in mineral processing.
* Ability to provide input into conceptual layouts and designs through to detailed designs and drawings.
* Knowledge of current engineering design standards and practices.
* High level of communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* Proficient with typical engineering software, particularly Excel, Word, and 3D viewing software.
* Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
