Role Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a Vehicle Strategy Lead within our People & Culture division, initially until 31 March 2026. This division focuses on strategic, people-centered initiatives to foster a safe and inclusive environment, providing HR services and organizational development support across Toyota and its affiliates.
The Senior Vehicle Strategy Lead will develop and implement a unified vehicle strategy, ensuring alignment of vehicle entitlements and supporting Toyota’s sustainability goals, including carbon neutrality. The role also involves managing employee vehicle benefits and ensuring policy compliance.
This position is based in Altona North with flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and monitor Toyota’s vehicle strategy, managing schedules, performance metrics, and reporting.
* Support the development and review of employee vehicle systems and processes.
* Oversee the execution of vehicle purchase and spare parts schemes.
* Assist in establishing vehicle lease programs at Toyota affiliates.
* Apply a Kaizen mindset to improve capacity, efficiency, and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, minimizing risk exposure.
Candidate Attributes
* Degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
* Experience in strategy planning and policy creation
* Project management skills and stakeholder influence
* Strong organizational and customer service skills
