Genesis Minerals have a newly created position for an Electrician to join and to complement our current Site Services Team located at our Gwalia Mine Site, Leonora.
We're excited to hear from you if you have the following: Relevant recognised Electrical Trade Qualification 'A' grade electrical worker's licence Low Voltage Rescue Current unencumbered Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence; Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in both an industrial setting and domestic.
Awareness of Office of Energy Electrical Requirements, WHS Mines Regulations and AS/NZS **** wiring Rules and Regulations Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings The Role Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment at mine camp sites and domestic houses, including power distribution systems, lighting, GPO and Camp kitchen appliances.
Carry out statutory inspections of electrical equipment and provide accurate and detailed reports.
Undertake scheduled preventative electrical maintenance tasks to ensure optimum performance and to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Ensure electrical maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with specifications, relevant standards and regulatory guidelines Ensure all equipment is properly commissioned before being handing back to service and ensure personnel access to all electrical infrastructure and equipment is safe and compliant.
Liaison and cooperation with supply personnel, mechanical trades, and plant supervisors to ensure optimum equipment performance and availability.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing electrical tasks, including lockout/tagout procedures and arc flash safety The Company Genesis Minerals Limited (ASX: GMD) is a central player in the tier-one gold mining district of Leonora, Western Australia.
