Our organization is a major distributor of fuel and lubricants, operating across Northern Victoria, Southern New South Wales, and South Australia.
We provide a large network of wholesale depots and retail sites, with our head office based in Mildura and an additional administration facility in Albury.
We are seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety, Security and Environment Co-Ordinator to join our team on the eastern side of our network, ideally working from our Albury or Bendigo offices.
This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, and reporting directly to the HSSE Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our wholesale depots, retail sites, and wider offices across regional Australia, ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environment standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting leaders to implement health, safety, security, and environment standards and promoting our company's Target Zero culture.
* Conducting, managing, and reporting on all health, safety, security, and environment incident investigations, including developing and implementing corrective actions.
* Developing procedures and HSE documentation, conducting regular audits of HSE processes, systems, programs, and audits of TASCO locations.
* Driving and supporting health and wellbeing initiatives across the organization.
* Maintaining a regular travel schedule to stay connected with employees.
* Monitoring applicable health, safety, security, and environment legislative changes and communicating them to the network.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience working in a similar role.
* Relevant health, safety, security, and environment qualifications.
* Ability to regularly travel.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
