The delivery architect lead advanced drafting and modelling tasks, mentor junior staff, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
This role requires expert knowledge of Revit and proven multi-residential and mixed-use experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and coordination of complex BIM/Revit models across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines
* Oversee clash detection, resolve design conflicts and ensure model accuracy and alignment with consultant inputs
* Mentor and quality-check junior technicians, maintaining high documentation standards
* Support architects and engineers in delivering detailed construction documentation, planning submissions and tender packages
* Ensure projects are delivered to scope, programme, budget and quality benchmarks
* Maintain and implement BIM standards, templates and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency
* Ensure compliance with planning approvals, NCC/BCA, DBP obligations and NSW ADG requirements
* Coordinate closely with external consultants and contractors to uphold design intent and statutory compliance
Experience Required
* Proven experience as a delivery architect within architecture or construction, delivering multi-residential and mixed-use projects.
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with strong understanding of BIM standards and workflows.
* In-depth knowledge of architectural documentation standards, detailing and construction methodologies.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM models, including structural and MEP integration.
* Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revizto and BIM 360.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, developer-led environment, managing tight deadlines across complex projects.
* Strong understanding of construction documentation requirements, with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
* Experience coordinating with external consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with design intent, statutory requirements and DBP compliance.
* Proven ability to facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
* Comprehensive understanding of NSW Apartment Design Guidelines (ADG) minimum requirements, with experience reviewing and documenting residential projects from design development through to completion.
* Implementation and management of quality control checklists to maintain documentation standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
* Registered Architect (Australia/NSW preferred).
* 10+ years' Revit experience within architectural and/or construction practices.
* Specialist expertise in residential architectural documentation and delivery.
