Sales Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients through frequent visitation and cold calls.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with residential and commercial clients within the Pool Fencing and Balustrade Glass and Aluminium markets.
* Maintain CRM records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.
* Exceed sales targets and allocated Key Performance Indicators.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. sales and warehouse) to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Estimating & Quoting
* Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive quotes based on client specifications, scope of work and project drawings.
* Communicate pricing, product options, and timelines effectively to clients.
* Advise clients on product suitability, installation requirements, and compliance implications for specific project sites.
* Experience in managing B2B sales cycles for high-value projects.
Take-Offs & Plan Reading
* Occasionally, perform material and quantity take-offs from elevation plans and construction drawings and extract required components for quoting.
* Identify potential cost-saving opportunities or discrepancies in project documentation.
* Ensure take-offs are precise and aligned with project requirements and standards.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven hands-on experience in sales and quoting, technical product specifications and glass product installation processes including awareness of common site challenges and solutions in the Glass & Aluminium industry.
* In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards, major competitors' product lines, pricing strategies, and market positioning within the industry.
* Proven ability to leverage industry-specific insights to negotiate and close deals with commercial clients.
* Self-motivated, with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting elevation drawings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and math skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple quotes and deadlines simultaneously.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
