**Superior Home Health Services** are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Aged Care Support Workers to join our team in the **Gympie** **Region**. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You'll be self-motivated and love providing care to those who are vulnerable.
Positions available for immediate start. Applicants must live in Gympie and have full working rights in Australia.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
- Providing support with social and recreational activities;
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
- Responding to emergency situations; and
- Working weekend shifts as rostered
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support - Aged Care or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)
- 1 year + experience (preferably community)
